Women
For women's roller derby in the city, see the Gotham Roller Derby for info about the NYC teams (as of the start of 2026, apparently four teams plus a travel team). Bout locations have moved about due to the usual problems with venues. In 2025, they seem to have been mostly held at the LeFrak Center in Prospect Park.
Out on the island are the Long Island Roller Rebels. Home bouts are held at Skate Safe America in Old Bethpage, Long Island.
In Westchester is Suburbia Roller Derby.
Across the river in Jersey are the Garden State Rollergirls. Their home bouts are held at the Inline Skating Club of America in Wallington.
These women's derby leagues are all members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association.
Men
For men's metro area roller derby, see the New York Shock Exchange (FB). They are affiliated with the Men's Roller Derby Association.
